The city of Faridabad is located in the Southeastern part of the Haryana State which in turn lies in the northern region of India. The city of Faridabad has a total area of about 2,151 square kilometers which is huge. Being located in the southeastern region of India the weather in this city is naturally cool in the winter season and is a bit hot in the summer. The minimum temperature recorded here is about 11 degrees Celsius in January and February during the winter season and the regular temperature in this region is around 25 to 45 degrees Celsius in the month of March till June in the summer season. This region also has moderate rainfall. Due to this the region is famous for agriculture. Even though the city is big in size, it comprises of beautiful landscapes. Most of the population here is engaged in agriculture. The population dwelling in the city of Faridabad is counted out to be around 21, 93,276 people only according to the 2001 census. The population density is very high in this city.
