Gurgaon is the southern-most district of Haryana. This district is made up of nine blocks called as Farrukhnagar, Gurgaon, Sohna, F.P. Jhirka, Punhana, Nagina, Pataudi, Nuh and Tauru.
The town of Gurgaon is just 32 kilometers away from New Delhi, the capital of India. During summer, the temperature varies from 25 to 46 degrees Celsius and during winter from 2 to 5 degrees Celsius.
The ideal time to visit this place is from August to November and February to April.
As per the 2001 census, the population of this place was 0.228 million. A majority of the inhabitants of Gurgaon are Hindus. Yadav’s and Jat’s form a major part of the community. Currently, several Oriyas and Biharis have moved in here due to the real estate boom. One can also find many Bangladeshi and Africa people.
Being a Maha Nager Palika, ceverage chocked rain water over flow on road. Road condition and side foot path totaly damaged and encrochment by shop keepers no proper parking space in city. Local public auto drivers wrong drive their autos running with out Rear brake light and side blinkers. Always egar to quaral by side driving person. No traffic control at duty hours.
The Head lights of all Four/Six wheelers to be Half painted it should be made mandatory as people are in habit of High Beam in city also. It will avoid at least Two wheelers accidents in the city.
According to me, it's growth is quite good... but it seems to be highly expensive! We need to have good earnings to stay in Gurgaon as of now... i feel privileged to be a resident of Gurgaon. :)
Public transport is poor. No Public transport to hospitals like Medantta, Artemis. Paras. All hospitals should be linked by Public Bus. Autos are looting the public.
Infra is very bad. Roads, transport, power, cleaniness all basic emineites need to be improved. Cost of living is very high, but facilities are nothing.
