Gurgaon is the southern-most district of Haryana. This district is made up of nine blocks called as Farrukhnagar, Gurgaon, Sohna, F.P. Jhirka, Punhana, Nagina, Pataudi, Nuh and Tauru.
The town of Gurgaon is just 32 kilometers away from New Delhi, the capital of India. During summer, the temperature varies from 25 to 46 degrees Celsius and during winter from 2 to 5 degrees Celsius.
The ideal time to visit this place is from August to November and February to April.
As per the 2001 census, the population of this place was 0.228 million. A majority of the inhabitants of Gurgaon are Hindus. Yadav’s and Jat’s form a major part of the community. Currently, several Oriyas and Biharis have moved in here due to the real estate boom. One can also find many Bangladeshi and Africa people.
