The best time to visit Himachal depends on the desired type of break by a visitor, with summers lasting between April – June and winters (with snowfall being quite regular sight) between November to March.
Himachal Pradesh is not only known for its heritage properties ranging from ancient forts to colonial mansions, but is also home to places like the Kufri Valley, known for being a hotspot for trekkers; for the extensive number of wild life sanctuaries (around 32); as well as its religious prominence with places like Shimla; along with being the British Raj’s Summer Capital, is also of great religious and architectural importance.
In addition to this, Manali, a city which features quite high up on the list honeymoon goers, for its scenic beauty, is a part of this 18th century province.
