Bijli Mahadev Shrine

The Bijli Mahadeva Temple or the ‘Temple of lightning’ is about 10 kilometers from Kullu at a height of 2460 meters. This is a very striking temple and can be accessed only after a tough trek of 10 kilometers. From the temple there is a comprehensive view of Parvati and Kullu valleys while the 60 feet high staff of Bijli Mahadeva temple shines identical to a silver needle in the Sun. It is believed that the tall staff entices the divine blessings in the form of lightning.

Manikaran

There is sufficient space for accommodation in these temples and Gurudwara as well as in the HPTDC (Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation) hotel.
