Manali is truly said to be heaven on earth. Manali is a hill station which resides at the foothills of the Kullu valley at the northern side of Himachal Pradesh.It is also well-known by the name of Kullu-Manali.

Manali is one of the largest tourist’s attractions all over the world.

Manali has a very scarce population. According to 2001 India census Manali’s population inhabited 6,265.

The hill-station is located well above the sea level at an average height of 2625 m. Tourism is mainly favored in Manali due to its unique location and due to the weather of  Manali.

The climate of Manali is very cool even in the summer season. In winters the temperature goes below freezing point.

Overall the Manali always receives cool breeze due to the Himalayan mountain ranges.

More than 60%25 of the economy of Manali is due to tourism.
