Himachal Pradesh in North West of India is a beautiful state recognized as the land of undying snow peaks. The weather in Himachal Pradesh is cold year round, inviting the tourists to enjoy amidst the mountains and hills with a panoramic view. Himachal Pradesh can be divided into two regions, with the northern region experiencing a temperate summer, extreme cold and heavy snowfall winters and the southern region having hot summers. The best time to visit this state is during the months of mid May to mid October. However, planning a vacation time depends on what one would like to do. Be it spring, summer, rains or winter, this state offers everything each season. Spring (March to April) is the time when the place is not crowded and one can experience quiet and peace here. Summer, (May and June), is the peak season, especially in cities like Manali and Shimla, other than the Sipi Fair held in May, worth attending. Post monsoon months, (July to August) are also a good time to visit Himachal Pradesh to enjoy the wildlife and nature. Further, September to November is also good month for tourists, a time of festivals and events like Dussehra in October.
