Marked with a strong history filled with wars, Jammu and Kashmir, as it is often referred to, is considered a ‘paradise on earth’ with numerous sightseeing avenues ranging from the lovely snow capped mountains to the romantic boat houses and extensive flora.

Jammu and Kashmir also happens to be a strong location for some of the most frequently visited temples in the country such as Vaishno Devi, situated at a high of 5200 feet; Amarnath which is believe to be over 5000 years old and visited by over half-a-million people during a 45 day festival.

Jammu and Kashmir is a must visit for tourists making a Northern visit between December and April, as in addition to the historic and religious beliefs, it also is home to picturesque hill stations such as Gulmarg, referred by some as ‘The Meadow of Flowers’ and is also proud of some of the longest and highest ski slopes in the Asian Topography reaching about 3700 meters high, but consists of a very small population.
