The post office of Leh is amongst the oldest post offices in the world. Although no exact details are available about the building’s year of construction, one can readily get the idea of its old-era charm just by looking at it.
It is a small and quaint building that is dutifully serving the citizens of Leh since many decades. It is quite difficult to guess the working hours and even when the post office is actually working; one many find that there is shortage of something!
Still, it is very efficient when it comes to delivery of the stuff. The destination is reached within record time and that is why the post office is still a fond functional building in the town.
There are a few numbers of restaurants and other establishments scattered around this famous building and one can take a brisk stroll around the streets after getting over with the post office work
