The Srinagar Airport is formally known as the Sheikh Ul Alam Airport. It is named after one of the most respected saints of Jammu and Kashmir. The airport has undergone some massive renovations during the past few years and now boasts of all the amenities. At present the flights to Dubai, are the international flights scheduled. The great pilgrimage of Hajj is also operated from this airport.
