Bangalore is served by the newly built Bengaluru International Airport which started from 2008. There is a rapid transit system which is known as the Namma Metro which is expected to operate from 2011. Apart from this, there is the Rajdhani Express that connects Bangalore to New Delhi, which is the capital of India. For local conveyance, people can opt for the Bus Service offered by the city or the auto rickshaws.
