Attractions and Places to visit Bangalore

Bangalore is known as the Garden City for its weather, its greenery and the many public parks it houses. Visitors can shop, relax, visit bars and discotheques and attend movie screenings, among other things.

The Bangalore Palace is nothing short of a castle with all its towers and granite turrets. Built in 1880, this palace is a treat to visit and is one of Bangalore’s major attractions.

The Bull Temple, built in the sixteenth century, is the oldest temple in Bangalore. It contains a huge monument of God Nandi and holds wedding processions, music renderings and prayers every weekend.

Constructed in the eighteenth century, the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens is a splendid park. It contains various exotic species of plants which are tropical in nature. It also has a spectacular glasshouse and a watchtower.
