Tourist Guide Hampi:

The village of Hampi is build on the banks of the Tungabhadra River, situated in the state of Karnataka in India. The city of Hampi is of great religious importance from a pre-historic period.

The local language of the people of Hampi is Kannada. The city is also well renowned for its ruin which dates back to the 13th century.

Many of the old artifacts are been found recently which are of immense historic importance to the village of Hampi.

Hampi is mainly a city of great cultural importance. Agriculture is one of the chief occupations. Many of youth of the Hampi village are also involved in tourism.

The population of Hampi according to the 2001 India census was 59,941.

The climate of Hampi is very pleasant and thus is favorable for agriculture. The city also receives a considerable amount of rainfall during the monsoons.

The city is also home for many pre-historic temples.

Hampi is the work palce to visit with the historical monuments, forts, temples, ruins, this is memorable place one you saw and desire to see next time. From bangalore 360 Kms by Hampi express trains and many govt and private buses, from Hyderabad 350 kms Haripriya and Amaravathi train and private and govt buses From Goa - amaravathi train and one govt buses and in season privates buses available in loca you can use auto, car, for hampi and anegundi sight seeing, if you are single you can use bicycle to visit best time october to March budget time april to sept flight service - bangalore, hubli or goa

It is an intresting and holy place. A good tourist center not only for hindus but also foreigners. Every one should visit this place. There are many places to stay in Hampi rating from rs 400-to 1000-and above with air cooler fecilities. HERMANS GUEST HOUSE IS ONE OF THEM IN HAMPI WHICH IS HAVING DOUBLE BADDED ROOMS FOR RS 500-WITH BASIC FACILITIES .

If you visit India and not Hampi during it, you may have missed a mile stone story of how once up on a time before 1867, the world's diamond and jewelry capital was and what was the glory of the vijayanagara empire

We all know Hampi is one one of the historical palace. In Hampi we can find many monuments of tradition. Years, we should not miss any one of monuments and we find categories in different monuments and starchy.
