Alleppey (also known as Alappuzha) is a town located in the Alappuzha district, in Kerala, south of India.
Alleppey is often called the “Venice of the East” because of the wonderful canals and lagoons that lie throughout all the area. Although, Alleppey is also surrounded by beautiful beaches and the famous backwaters that make the town one of the most reached places of the entire Kerala.
