This is one of the most majestic buildings in Kerala. It is built in the city of Thucklai. This palace once stood as the capital center of the state of Travancore. It is famous for its 17th and 18th century architectural paintings and murals. There are numerous courtyards, passages and pictures of Lord Krishna at the palace.
The floor of this palace is made from a unique combination of sand, jaggery and eggs.
