The major centers for shopping in Thiruvananthapuram are Power House Road, Attukal Shopping complex, Chalai, M.G. Road, Kedaram (Kesavadasapuram), Narmada Shopping complex (Kaudiar) and Saphalya (Palayam).
Most of the items related to handicrafts are situated on M.G.Road. Kerala’s traditional handicrafts like lacquer ware, bamboo and cane crafts and furniture, copperware and wood carvings are in great demand.
After touring this place, the tourist feels eager to carry back some items. Thiruvananthapuram is a crucial shopping center for not only traditional items but also some modern goods.
