Bangaram Island is known as the Jewel of the Lakshadweep, it is sparsely populated. There are few visitors from Agatti, which is the closest island and there is an airport located there.
On Bangaram Island, one can view lush green coconut palms, silvery beaches, turquoise blue lagoons and sparkling coral reefs. All are preserved in the State just as the first discoverers had found them.
Those who have ample time can view the swaying of the palms, hear the sound of the waves, lie on the silver beaches and soak under the Sun. The visitors of this Island get a feeling that this place was particularly for viewing the beach dances of hermit crabs, hearing the music of seabirds and for strolling leisurely.
