The Moti Masjid and the Moti Mahal are both masterpieces of architecture constructed in the heart of the city. The name Moti masjid means ‘The Mosque of Pearls’. The designs of both the above mentioned structures are done in a special manner and the stones used are rare and seem to be large pearls. It was built by Sikandar Jahan Begum in 1844 and the building still retains its beauty.
