Mahatma Gandhi Hall
The name ‘Mahatma Gandhi Hall’ was given to an edifice in 1948 which was formerly called as King Edward Hall which is an Indo-gothic monument constructed of Seoni stones in 1904. The steeples and domes of this structure are a landmark of Indore city. It is also called as ‘Ghanta Ghar’ as there is a clock tower in the front part of the building. There is a huge central hall that has a capacity of 2000 people.
Nehru Park
The name ‘Nehru Park’ was given to the oldest and most centrally situated park in Indore which was called as ‘Biscow Park’ in the pre-independence days when it was open only to the British people. This park comprises of children’s hobby center, swimming pool, library, roses as well as a miniature train and battery operated cars.
Geeta Bhavan
The Geeta Bhavan has icons of Gods of disparate religions and is open for all irrespective of religion, creed and caste while there is a facility for devotees to pray separately. There exists a central hall that has wall paintings from the Mahabharata, the Ramayana and the Puranas.
