The Rupmati’s pavilion is constructed on the periphery of the fort. From here, one can have a comprehensive view of the river Narmada and adjoining plains.
The Baz Bahadur’s palace was built in 1509. The structure is a mix of the Mughal and Rajasthani styles. It is close to the Rewa Kund.
This palace was supplied water by means of a water lift at the north end of the Rewa Kund.
The Jain Temple is a modern structure which houses images of Tirthankars in gold, silver and marble. The site is highly decorated. In the Jain museum, there is a copy of Shatrunjaya as well as a mural that depicts Jain homilies.
Mohammed Shah planned the Asharfi Mahal in order to serve as a school. Later, he altered his plan and finalized that his tomb would be built in this structure. However, the design of the structure was very imposing and the architects had limited capabilities. Consequently, the building collapsed and currently there is just a grand stairway which ends up in the ruins of the structure.
The Hoshang’s Tomb is regarded as the oldest marble building in India. Here, the remains of Hoshang Shah are preserved after his demise in 1435. The entrance has a domed porch and the double arched central dome is surrounded by four small domes.
