The city of Amravati comes under the Vidharba region of the Maharashtra state. It is located in the north eastern region of the Maharashtra state. Amravati is also known as “The Cotton City” in Maharashtra. This name is given to the city because of the excessive amount of cotton grown in the city. The cotton mills in the city are an important source of economy for the city. Amravati is also a very spiritual city and has several temples of the Hindu goddess Amba, Shri Venkateswara and Shri lord Krishna. The most important trivia about the city is that the present President of India Mrs. Pratibha Patil is from this city. The typical Indian Subtropical climate is observed in the city. The climate of the city is quite moderate. In summers the temperatures range from 30 to 40 degree Celsius and in winter the temperature ranges from 20 to 32 degree Celsius. The total area of the city comprises of land of around 24 square miles and the population of the city is around 58,312.

Education point of Amravati is best. Peoples are cooperative. But condition of roads is poor like a village Badnera to Amravati road & So many roads like this are worst in condition it was not before ever. When a new person comes to amravati & saw this situation he feel pity for the road. even transport problem is also there. buses timings are odd the student has to miss their class many time due to this transportation. Although this city has its own beauty like Chikhaldara, Maltekadi, Melghat and many more. I love My Amravati very much. Because Some upcoming projects are there which helps increasing job opportunity & economy of it.

Amravati is A growing City, Opening New Shopping Malls, Theaters, Food Places but still very much left in Amravati, no proper gardens where family or someone else safely enjoy the time. The Railway Station of Amravati is not a Junction, the trains go to Badnera Station then change the position of Engine, There is waste of Time and increases extra half hour to journey.

Amravati is not only beautiful city but itis also green n clean city. Though it mainly focuses its attraction as an educational hub n spirutial place but also there is major change in the city by develpment of various mall like big bazar, demart, walmart which connect the people. Also it is the most safest city for girls. Proud to be in Amravati.

Nice city, reasonable hotels for food and accommodation, good connectivity by rail and roads, lots of tourist attractions nearby like wan project upper wardha project, melghat tiger project, chikhaldara, semadoh, kolkaj, makhla, dhakna, harisal etc, hvpm, amravati university, wadali lake, chatri talao etc, maltekadi

As we see the inner regions of the city, the roads are good enough, posh, road dividers have greenery but when we move to the walgaon road area, the scene is not so good. No city bus run in this region of the city, God knows why. This area needs fast development so as to make the whole city beautiful.

Amravati is small but nice city,lac of business, industries and other development but cultural activity and education sector is in developing stage. Roads and other infrastructurals development are now in progress. Ideal place for tourism, spiritual places are our heritage.

Laidback people, housing getting expensive for now reason, traffic signals are there but don't work when needed at peak hours, average restaurants, one entertainment zone, beautiful and well-built railway station, well-connected to various major cities by rail and road.

The city I love the most everything is so happening and now it's growing well because of industrial and infrasture and transportation facilities.projects like a operational airport will bring lot of change in cities much needed growth and developement.

FAMOUS FOR ANCIENT AMBADEVI TEMPLE, ORANGES & COTTON. IT IS AGRICULTURE DOMINATED WITH VERY FEW INDUSTRIES. LIFE IS MORE PEACEFUL COMPARED TO BIG CITIES. PREVIOUS PRESIDENT OF INDIA PRATIBHA TAI PATIL WAS ELECTED 3 TIMES AS MP FROM AMRAVATI.

It is very buityful city. Every one should visit here once in life. Ambadevi temble is world famaus temple. HVPM is india biggest sports academy is here. Shiv tekadi is one of the famous place in Amravati.

Amravati is the best city to live and to get settled. Here are many temples from them one most famous the Amba Devi Temple.
