Mumbai Beaches : Band Stand

Band Stand is a famous landmark in Bandra in Mumbai near the seafront. This place is ideal for taking leisurely strolls in the morning or evening and one will find several residents taking early morning walks here.

The fresh air of the sea breeze and the popular bhel puri stalls are what attract a number of people to this place. The Agnel Ashram is a popular place situated at Band Stand.

The other attraction is Jogger’s Park which is located at the other end and is famous among joggers. The well maintained land of the Jogger’s Park has a children’s playground and a walking trail along with a mud trail.

The side opposite the entrance of the park provides beautiful frontal views of the Arabian Sea, the waves of which come lashing on the rocks in the monsoons. One can view the sunrise and sunset from the rocks at Bandstand in the evenings or early mornings.
