Juhu Beach
Juhu Beach is situated in the central suburbs of Mumbai and can be visited from Santa Cruz, Vile Parle and Andheri as well. The beach offers splendid views of the sunrise and sunset amidst tinted shades of orange and red.
Similar to Chowpatty beach this is a popular place with the locals who come here to enjoy ferry rides, horse back rides, merry go rides for children, eat bhel puri, chat, shevpuri, pav bhaji in the food and stalls and more.
Although the place is not advised for swimming and sun bathing one can enjoy the local food and the scenery at the beach. A number of Bollywood movies have been shot here and if you are lucky you might just get to see a shooting here.
A number of luxury hotels are situated on the southern end of the beach. At the northern end of the beach is ‘Gandhi Gram’, the residence of the great leader Mahatma Gandhi, who lived here while practicing as a lawyer in the Mumbai high court.

Juhu Beach is known to be one of the attractive beaches in Mumbai. This is a flat beach which is situated amidst the Mumbai town and has many hotels located near to the beach. The restaurants too have amazing sea view for anybody who is having a cup of coffee here. One of the main attractions of this beach is its beautiful mesmerizing sunset. There are many food stalls on the beach that offer tasty local dishes which are popular amongst Mumbaikars and tourists.

You can take your children a walk into the beach. You can take sun bath if the rules of Mumbai permits. A place where strangers will attract you be careful.
