The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is situated 29 kilometers to the north of Mumbai.
The airlines served at this airport are Swissair, Singapore Airlines, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Royal Nepal Airlines, Qantas, Pakistan International Airlines, Lufthansa, and all the other major airlines.
At the airport, there is government as well as state information kiosks. There is a twenty four hour bank that facilitates foreign exchange in Arrivals. At both the terminals, there are postal services and ATMs.
This airport received the 2008 Frost and Sullivan Asia Pacific Aerospace and Defense Awards “Aeronautical Excellence Airport of the Year” for the development of the aeronautical segment of the airport.
