Bombay, India’s commercial and entertainment capital, draws people from all over the world with its exciting, bustling vigor. The city is home to India's film and television industry, popularly known as Bollywood

With an approximate population of about 15 million, the city is the melting pot of people with diverse ethnic backgrounds, language and culture.

If you're visiting Bombay for business or holiday, there are endless things to do and see. The visitors to the city are welcomed by the grand Gateway of India, a 26-meter-high stone arcade built in 1911 to commemorate the visit of England's King George and Queen Mary. From this historical monument, you can enter the city and visit its wealth of galleries, museums and other famous sites. You can then head off for a pleasure trip such as a short cruise to Elephanta Island, which houses the 7th century temple caves. Heading inland, comes the famous Juhu Beach which welcomes you to its lively shores dotted with coconut palm and trees. The beach is a perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon stroll.  The Jahangir Art Gallery and the Prince of Wales Museum are must stops for art lovers.

With its magnificent historical sites, shopping options, contemporary wonders, religious sites and natural wonders, the city has so much more to offer to its visitors.
