Pune city situated at the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India, offers various temples built ages ago. Some of the worth visiting temples are the Bhimashankar Temple Jyotirlinga (18th century), Bhuleshwar, ( 13th century) and also the Pataleshwar Cave temple, (8th century). Many can visit the Chaturshringi, Kasba Ganapati, Tulsi Baug Ganapati, Tambadi Jogeshwari and even some of the Jain temples like the Mahavir Jain temple.
