In this museum, there is a collection of objects of the late Dinkar Kelkar who was an art lover.
The arts of daily life are preserved in this museum which includes pen and ink stands, containers, lamps, nutcrackers and pots. These and other objects are crafted and decorated to perfection.
The wooden carvings consist of carved wooden windows and doors from Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Metal items like ritual bowls, ink pots and locks can also be seen.
There is also a collection of oil lamps. The entire collection of this museum can be classified as musical instruments, beauty culture, bronze deities, sculpture, tambool, textiles, lamps, ivory, toys, arms, coins, terracotta, paintings, earthenware, mastani mahal, wooden objects, kitchen utensils and writing implements.
