Laxmi Road is about three-km long road situated in the heart of Pune city. It is well-known for selling tremendous variety of clothes and jewelry. ‘Laxmi’ means wealth and one can really feel the blessings of the goddess in this place which is crowded with shops and buyers at all times.

It is lined with shops and stalls on both the sides. There are countless narrow side-streets that crisscross it. One can really experience the true hustle and bustle of Pune city on this road.

A huge variety of garments, suitable for every climate and age are sold on hundreds of shops on this road. The gold and silver jewelry market come to a close-second.

Besides these two, there are minor shopping centers, fruit and vegetable vendors, restaurants and tea-stalls. For such a happening place, the road is extremely narrow and there is a continuous flow of heavy traffic. If you plan to visit the road, it is best to just walk and browse through various shops.

Laxmi Road is known to be one of the most significant and commercial busiest roads in Pune, in Maharashtra. It extends to the east-west direction of the city and is lined up with numerous varieties of shops. For any person, this street offers everything to purchase even for specific occasions and festivities.  Moreover, Laxmi Road is the precise venue for Laxmi Puja held during the festival of Diwali.
