Double Decker Root Bridge

The Double Decker Root Bridge situated at the Tyrna village is more than 100 feet in length and can carry more than 50 people simultaneously. This bridge lies over the Umshiang River.

Dainthlen Waterfalls

The Dainthlen Waterfalls are close to the Ranguyrthei village on the road to Cherrapunjee. While on way to this waterfall, one can view stretches of rock formation and vast grasslands.

Thangkharang Park and Kynrem Waterfalls

The Thangkharang Park is located 12 kilometers from Cherrapunjee and is handled by the State Forest Department. From the hilltop it is possible to view attractive plains along with rivers that are on their final journey to the sea. In this park one ought to see Koh-ramhah which is a natural single rock formation of 200 feet having the shape of an upside down basket. The Kynrem Waterfalls are the highest falls in the state and have a height of 1000 feet.

Nohkalikai Waterfalls

The Nohkalikai Waterfalls is close to Cherrapunji but can be seen only during the monsoon. These start off as a clear bubbling stream and transforms to a huge waterfall that gushes down the rocky cliff into a deep ravine with a deafening sound along with a large swirling mist.
