The Shillong Golf Course is called the ‘Glen Eagle of the East’ being one of the largest golf courses in Asia. It is one of the few natural golf courses in the world.
The Crinoline Falls are approximately 13 metres in height and are surrounded by picturesque sights. One may swim in the swimming pool which is at the base of the falls.
The Elephant Falls are located in Upper Shillong. It offers a beautiful sight and an exciting picnic spot in the rainy season. Upper and Lower Elysium Falls can also be viewed from here.
The Shillong Peak is the highest point of Shillong. It is situated five kilometres away from the city. It is always covered with fog.
The peak is semi-circular and can be viewed from Upper Shillong.
The Ward Lake is made in the shape of a horse-shoe. It houses bridges and isles. One can enjoy feeding the beautiful fishes here.
