Tourist Guide Lunglei
Lunglei is a small town found in the southern side of the state of Mizoram in eastern India. It is built around the river Nghashih which is a tributary of the River Tlwang which covers a large part of eastern India. The name ‘Lunglei’ means “A Bridge made of Rock” because there exists a huge rock in the middle of the river, and thus can be used as a bridge. Its climate is favorable, but can be harsh at times. The rainfall that is received here is among the highest received in the entire country. It is a town based in the beautiful valleys and the mountainous regions of east India. It is also one of the most densely populated towns in the region of Mizo. The people here have traditions and customs that are difficult to find in the rest of the region. There is a majority of Buddhist followers in this town. There are a lot of migrates from the neighboring countries like Nepal and Bangladesh because this town has many resource and lifestyle options.
