The district of Kohima is home to the beautiful rocky Naga Hills. It has one of the most magnificent panoramic views. The travelers should make it a point to visit this capital city. One can also visit the neighboring village to Kohima, the Barra Basti. It is a village of great historical importance and also houses the state museum. The Dzukou Valley is also called by the name of the valley of flowers. There are a variety of different flowers that gloom in this valley. The Dzukou valley is a delight for the lovers of nature. Tourists in large numbers are attracted to this place just to enjoy the natural beauty of this valley. Dimapur precisely is a commercial town. The town basically depicts the Karachi type of archeological evolution. Dimapur has a vast marketplace where one can shop for the rich traditional Naga clothing at a very cheap rate. Very rare types of ornaments are also found at the marketplace at a considerable rate.
