Red Fort is an old palace built to celebrate the the assignement to Delhi as new capital.

The periphery of the Red Fort is almost two kilometers and the height alters from 18 meters to 33 meters. This fort was built by Emperor Shah Jahan. This site was a palace for the new capital of the Emperor.

On August 15, the Prime Minister of India addresses the county.

India Gate : the height of the India Gate is about 42 meters. Light brown Bharatpur stones are used to construct this monument. This is a war memorial dedicated to the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War.

The Jama Masjid is regarded as one of the biggest and oldest mosques in India. This is open to the public on all days, excluding the moments of prayer.

Jantar Mantar is an observatory. The sun dial, called as Samrat Yantra, is a very grandiose device in this place. The longest and shortest days in the year can be found out through two pillars.

The Lotus Temple has enticed more than 50 million visitors after it was thrown open to the public. This monument is in the form of a white half-opened lotus flower.

The Akshardham Temple has an area of about 100 acres. It was constructed for about 200 crore Indian rupees. Pink sandstone is used to construct it. It is remembered for displaying the history, values, culture and art of India.
