Getting Around: I used auto rickshaws and metro train. Public buses are slow and there are frequent traffic jams. We went on foot for short distance places. Delhi is a cheaper place to travel if used public means, but stays at hotels are not that cheap. Food is good and cheap. Long distance trains are a labyrinth.

General opinion: Delhi is one of the hep cities of India. It can become the best cities of the world if some issues such as women safety, cleanliness and rapid deforestation are dealt with. However for this, the govt alone is not responsible, they have to pull the strings of MCD and others tightly for this. Hope to see a better delhi in future.

General opinion:  New Delhi is the capital city of India. The entire metropolis of Delhi is known as New Delhi. It represents a city abundant in culture, architecture and diversity and is home to more than 13,500,000 inhabitants.
The city has an extreme climate for most of the year. Summers are hot whereas winters are cold. August and September often witness all-day rains with high humidity levels. November to March is the best time to visit when the weather is cool and sunny.
Since India’s independence, New Delhi has flourished as the capital of India. In recent times, there has been a population ... More explosion due to economic well being and numerous job opportunities. Today, a world-class metro system has been established in New Delhi due to the increase in transport demand.
