The Coronation Durbar Park is situated 20 kilometers from Connaught Place on the KB Hedgewar Marg after the Nirankari colony in North Delhi beyond the Kingsway camp.
It can be reached by auto rickshaws or taxis, local buses and the metro rail.
This place is open every day and there are no admission or photography charges for the visitors.
Famous for being the venue where the British had held durbars in the years 1877, 1903 and 1911 when Queen Victoria, Edward VII and George V respectively ascended the throne.
The current significance of this venue is that there are many British statues that have been brought from the city of Delhi and placed here.
The statue of George V in the coronation robe, which is 15 meters in height, was removed from the canopy or domed kiosk from the India Gate after independence and placed in this park.
One may also find statues of Lord Willingdon and Lord Hardinge.
