The Kasi Viswanthar temple in Ozhurai is one of the biggest places of worship for the Hindus in the whole of Puducherry. It is the temple of a Goddess from Puducherry. People all over Puducherry worship this goddess. A big cultural fest is organised by the Trust of the temple for the locals every year. This fest is well known all over the state. Tourists from all over come to have a glimpse of this fest.
