The Kasi Viswanthar temple in Ozhurai is one of the biggest places of worship for the Hindus in the whole of Puducherry. It is the temple of a Goddess from Puducherry. People all over Puducherry worship this goddess. A big cultural fest is organised by the Trust of the temple for the locals every year. This fest is well known all over the state.
