Jalandhar isn’t exactly famous for its nightlife. However, if one really looks around, there are some opportunities for the enthusiasts. Most of the restaurants that are located around the bus-stand area have bars within them.
Notable names include Hotel Kings Bar & Restaurant, Hotel Plaza Bar & Restaurant and The Grand Lilly Resort.
Some palaces within the city have been converted into restaurants and they sell an assortment of beverages.
Country Inn has occasional clubbing facilities for visitors. Most of the local dhabas (open-air street-side food joints) serve very delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food till very late in the night.
Lassi (sweet buttermilk) is the specialty of Punjab, which is a favorite amongst tourists. Sometimes, there are live-performances of local artists who sing and dance at these dhabas. Many small food-stalls on the streets also serve local delicacies.
