Tourist Guide Jalandhar:

Jalandhar formerly called as Jullundhar is situated on the irrigated plain between the Sutlej and Beas rivers in the Punjab State.

It is regarded as the oldest city in the state that has transformed to a highly industrialized center producing world class sports equipments as well as some of the best sportsmen in the nation.

Towards the east is the Ludhiana district, towards the north is the Hosiharpur district, towards the west is Kapurthala and towards the south is the Ferozepur district.

The climate of this city is predominantly dry with the exception of the short south-west monsoon season from July to early September during which the average yearly rainfall is 703 millimeters.

As per the census of 2001, the population of Jalandhar was 0.7 million.

Jalandhar is the city of those who are 'jal ke ander--- Jalandhar' It means the people of this place are as cool, docile and submissive as water. It is the land of Punjabis with improved pronunciation of Punjabi Language. The people of Jalandhar are much advenced not only in business,richness or money matters but also in their love ,attachment culture and civilization. They know how to preserve their culture while living in the most modern age.

One of the most inspiring city where You Dream and Decide To make your dream A success. I stayed 4,1/2 Years in Doaba Adampur. Where My children Started Walking, My daughter Stared Her School Son Started His school. I had An Idea Of Sports Business Which Is now Helping Me at My hard Time Its My Dream To have Sports Bussiness Like Jallandhar In Kanpur.

It is the good city. In jalandhar city every facility is avaiable such as railway statoins, pvr cinemas, playing grounds, good secuirity, excellent roads, etc. In the city many top colleges are available.

Traffic problem should be sorted out with the help of public, more parking places needed, over brides also. Roads are also of very poor quality material and should be repaired.

Devi talab mandir, sodal mandir, gujral science city, bmc chowk, Metro cash and carry, ritu wear, model town & nikku park (a playground for children with rides and slides).

Good city for every body, under BPL line, Middle class or Rich Class. Extra educational and Medical Physicality is available. Situated on NH-1, Good Entrance.
