Shiv Mandir

The Shiv Mandir is a combination of the Hindu and Muslim architecture and while the main gate is similar to that of a mosque the remaining building is identical to Hindu style. It is believed that this temple was constructed by the Nawab of Sultanpur Lodhi close to Imam Nasir mausoleum at Gur Mandi.

Devi Talab Mandir

The old Devi Talab temple has been recently renovated and a new temple has been constructed in its center which is approximately one kilometer from the railway station. On the side of this temple there is an old temple dedicated to Goddess Kali.

It has been a custom for past 125 years, to hold the ‘Hariballabh Sangeet Sammelan’ at this temple as per which both vocal and instrumental popular classical music exponents perform here. At this temple, there is a huge masonry tank which is 200 years old and considered sacred by the Hindus.

Imam Nasir Mausoleum and Jamma Masjid

In the heart of Jalandhar, there is a beautiful mausoleum of Imam Nasir that is 800 years old. It is said that the Jamma Masjid is about 400 years old.
