Tourist Guide Ajmer
Ajmer is a beautiful city in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
This city is surrounded by the Aravalli range and is situated on the lower slopes of the Taragarh hill. Anasagar is a huge artificial lake towards the north of the city.
There is modern development on the outskirts of the city. As per the 2001 census, the population of Ajmer was 4,85,197.
The climate of Ajmer is a typical desert one. There is a large difference in the day and night temperatures.
From April to June, the maximum temperature is almost 45 °C. From November to February, there is a chill winter.
The ideal time to visit this city is from October to March.
