Bharatpur is 50 km towards the west of Agra and is located in the state of Rajasthan. The average height of this city is 183 meters above sea level. Bharatpur is situated in the Mewat region. In the past, this was a well-fortified and impregnable city.
It was the capital of the kingdom that was managed by the Jat maharajas. As per the 2001 census, the population of Bharatpur was 2,04,560. In the summer season, which lasts from April to June, the temperature varies from 38 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius.
