The Bundi Taragarh Fort also called as the Star Fort is a grandiose edifice that is positioned on a steep hill and made of stone. This fort has three gateways called as Gagudi ki Phatak, Lakshmi Pol and Phuta Darwaza but most of these are in ruins currently.
This fort boasts of huge battlements and ramparts. When one reaches inside the fort it is possible to view the Bhim Burj which is the biggest battlement. On this battlement one can view a popular canon called as Garbha Gunjan.
There is a huge water reservoir in this fort that is carved of a single rock. The Rani Mahal is a small palace that has been constructed exclusively for the wives and concubines of the rulers. However the shine of the murals and the stained glass windows has completely faded away
