Nawal Sagar is a magnificent artificial lake that can be seen from the Taragarh Fort and is broken up by islets. At the center of this lake one can view the temple of Varuna who is the Aryan God of water.
This temple is half-submerged in the center of the lake. This lake is a unique attraction of Bundi as the reflection of the complete city and the various palaces in it can be viewed in this lake.
