About 420 kilometers from Jaipur in the Udaipur district one can view the Shri Neemach Mata Ji temple that was built in the year 1652-80 by Maharana Ranjeet Singh I.
Shri Neemach Mata is the clan goddess of the royal family of the Maharanas. This temple has the stone idol of the goddess that has a height of 56 feet and width of 23 feet.
There is also an idol of Ganesh that has a height of 22.1 feet and width of 12.1 feet. There are three lions of stone that face westwards.
This temple has been constructed on a hill on the bank of Fateh Sagar Lake and has a shikhar (spire), a circumambulatory path around it and a Hawan Kund (container in which fire is lit) outside the inner temple to perform a Yagna (prayer in which offerings are made to fire).
