The Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing is situated at Amber in Jaipur close to the Kheri Gate. It is open from 10:30 am to 5 pm from Tuesday to Saturday and on Sundays from 11 am to 4:30 pm, while is closed on Mondays.
The entry fee for adults is 0.72 USD (INR 30) and there are concessions for children or students. This museum is dedicated to the age-old craft of hand block printing.
The museum has recently restored 400 year old haveli (house) that has 3 floors of well kept displays. This is a quiet place away from the hectic atmosphere of a city.
This museum has played an important role in reviving the local hand block printing industry and the products created by these artisans are sold in the Indian and international retail outlets.
