The Rajasthani city of Jaipur is fondly known as Pink city. It is the capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan.

The city was ruled by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1727 who built the famous Amber Fort here. Though in its pre-modern stage, Jaipur is growing at a fast speed.

The city offers a fine combination of historical monuments, royal palaces, temples, shopping streets and a less developed nightlife.

This princely city possesses a wide range of attractions for the tourists. Hawa Mahal is the most famous structure in the city.

This Palace of Winds was built for the royal ladies to see the whole city without being seen by the public.

The Amber fort possesses a combination of Muslim and Hindu architectures. Jaigarh fort is another structure, which exhibits the royal past of the city.

Jal Mahal or Palace of Water lies in the Man Sarovar Lake.

Jantar Mantar is a historical clock.City Palace museum holds the details about the royal history and heritage of Jaipur.
