There are shopping Bazaars in Jaisalmer. However, there are bazaars and shops where one can buy various items that interest them. Whether it is food, exquisite local crafts or traditional rugs, known as hand woven blankets with mirror work, one can buy a lot of things from a number of shops and bazaars. There are also government operated arts and crafts shops in the fort and around the city.
