Desert National Park is in neighborhood of Jaisalmer and is situated to the west side of the Rajasthan near Jaisalmer. This is known as one of the largest national parks and covers almost an area of 3162 kilometers. This park is an excellent illustration of the ecosystem of the Thar Desert. Almost 20 percent of the Park is of Sand Dunes. In this park, one can get to see the endangered Great Indian Bustard which is a magnificent bird found rarely.
