The Patwon-ki-haveli
is a very tall monument of great historic importance. This is one of the most glorious and chief memorials of all the haveli’s of Jaisalmer. According to history it took 50 years to build this extra-ordinary structure.
The existence of the Gadsisar Lake dates back to 1367. The sight of the lake during the rainfalls in marvelous and is a must see for visitors.
The Jaisalmer Fort was established in 1156. The fort is situated on foot of the Trikuta hill. This was the place where the Rajput’s had fought numerous battles. Almost majority of the local public reside inside the Jaisalmer Fort.
The Jaisalmer Folk Museum is one of the places which exhibit the city’s rich cultural heritage.
The famous Rajasthani folk dance is one main tourist attractions and people flow in numbers from different parts of the world to be a part of their rich culture.
