Jodhpur: Streets, Squares and Neighbourhoods

Brahmapuri is a small settlement in the city. It is situated at the foot of the majestic Mehrangarh fort. The street pattern is such that the main street runs North South and sloes downwards steeply. This street ends at the twin lakes, namely the Roop Sagar and the Padam Sagar at the foot of the fort. This street is narrow. The houses cast a shadow on the street at both times of the day, morning time and evening time.
