Udaipur can get really hot in the summer and it would be essential to carry loose, cotton clothes in this season along with goggles, sunscreen and scarves to protect oneself from the heat.
In winter it is pleasant and one can carry light woolens. The best time to visit the place is from September to March when it is not too hot.
Although traveler’s cheques and credit cards are accepted in larger hotels some of the smaller places might not have the facilities so it is best to carry the Indian currency which is Rupee in denominations of 10, 20, and 50 and so on.
All important documents such as passport, visa, airline ticket and insurance papers need to be carried in a separate pouch lest they get lost.
Last but not the least do not forget to pack in your camera especially to take stunning photographs of the Lake Palace Udaipur at night.
